In the last decade, the literature on molecular mechanisms and activated pathways in the different lymphoma categories increased exponentially, which was followed by a more diffuse and successful use of targeted therapies. Dr. Hina Younus is an associate professor at the Interdisciplinary Biotechnology Unit, Aligarh Muslim University, India. She has more than 14 years of teaching and research experience, and her specialization is in enzymology. Her current research interests are in the glycation of enzymes and its protection by natural compounds, studies on human salivary aldehyde dehydrogenase, and modulating enzymatic activity in the presence of nanoparticles. She has published 45 research articles in reputed peer-reviewed international journals, including Nature Structural and Molecular Biology, Biochimica Biophysica Acta, Applied Environmental Microbiology, Plos One. She is the recipient of the prestigious DAAD fellowship (2001-2003) and completed her postdoctorate at IUPUI, Indianapolis, U.S.A (2007-2009). She is the editorial board member of numerous journals including, Journal of Immunology and Vaccine Technology, Journal of Clinical and Medical Sciences, and Austin Environmental Sciences.

While men have been able to cryopreserve sperm since the 1950s, women have only recently gained the opportunity to preserve their gametes through the egg vitrification technique. Therefore, many women confronted with a risk of imminent fertility loss, such as chemotherapy, are now freezing their oocytes instead of embryos. Successful oocyte cryopreservation offers them a reproductive autonomy independent of men.

Dominic Stoop took his medical degree in 2001 and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2007 at the Ghent University, Belgium. He joined the Centre for Reproductive Medicine of the Free University of Brussels in 2008 where he is currently a professor. He is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology board-certified subspecialist in reproductive medicine and surgery. His main clinical and research interests include gynaecology and ovary freezing.
