He is also an Associate Editor of the journal Coloproctologie.

Dr. med. Franz Raulf is a surgeon, and was head of the Coloproctology Department of the Rafaelsklinik Münster from 2007 until his retirement in 2013. Dr. Raulf is the author of a number of proctological medical textbooks.
