His research interests are focused on thyroid cancer pathology: aetiopathogenesis,diagnosis, prognosis and therapy selection. He was President of the European Society of Pathology from 1999-2001 and is co-author of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th edition of the WHO book on endocrine tumours (1988, 2004 and 2016 (in preparation)). Manuel Sobrinho-Simões was voted the most influential pathologist in the World (2015) in a poll conducted by “The Pathologist”.

José Manuel Cameselle-Teijeiro, MD, PhD, is a member of the Department of Anatomic Pathology at the Clinical University Hospital in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, and is Associate Professor of the Medical School there. His research interests are focused on thyroid tumors pathology, with an emphasis on familial

non-medullary thyroid cancer. He coordinates the Spanish Society of Anatomic Pathology`s Working Group on Endocrine Pathology and has co-authored several chapters of the 3rd and 4th editions of the WHO book on endocrine tumours. Dr. Linos is a member of several surgical societies and is actively involved with the American College of Surgeons (ACS), The Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), and the International Association of Endocrine Surgeons (IAES).

Dr. Woong Youn Chung is a leader in minimally invasive thyroidectomy and has the most extensive experience in robotically assisted transaxillary thyroidectomy.
